Privacy Policy
What little information this site collects, why, and what happens to it. In plain English.
This is a simple website for a one-person business. It collects very little, and what it does collect is only ever used to reply to you. Here is the whole picture.
Who runs this site
hansgrane.com is operated by Hans Grane, a self-employed performer based in Norway, working internationally. Hans is the only person who reads what you send. For any privacy question, email post@hansgrane.no.
What this site collects
- What you send through the contact form. When you fill in the enquiry form, it collects your name, email address, phone number and whatever details you choose to write about your event. That is the only information you actively give the site.
- Basic technical logs. Like almost every website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs (for example your IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. These are part of the hosting, not something Hans mines.
- Essential cookies. The site uses a small number of functional cookies needed to load pages and serve them quickly. It is not used to build advertising profiles of you.
Why it collects it, and for how long
The contact details you send are used for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange your event. They are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any booking that follows, plus what the law requires for ordinary business records, and then deleted. Nothing you send is ever sold or rented to anyone.
Who else can see it
Your message is delivered by email and stored with the service providers that run this site and its email — the web host and the email service. They process it only so the site and email work, and are not allowed to use it for anything else. No data is shared for advertising.
Your rights
Because Hans operates from Norway and works with guests across the EU and UK, you have the rights set out in the GDPR: to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. To use any of these, just email post@hansgrane.no and it will be handled.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Last updated 13 June 2026.
